The team at Creative Smiles Dental is dedicated to the health and comfort of our patients. We promise to provide you with comprehensive, professional dental care of the highest quality performed in a warm, caring environment. Dr. Shaw-Halder is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD).
Our two dentists, Dr. Rhonda Shaw-Halder and her associate Dr. Alex Bordonaro, and the rest of the Creative Smiles Dental team have over 50 years of combined experience, which sets us apart from the rest of the dental care facilities. We have a full-time hygienist, two "expanded duty" dental assistants, a hygiene coordinator, a financial coordinator and a treatment coordinator that will prepare you for any dental procedures and treat you with the personalized care you deserve. At Creative Smiles Dental, you can rest assured that all of your dental needs will be cared for in a professional manner.
Dr. Shaw-Halder
Originally from Baton Rouge, Rhonda Shaw-Halder graduated with an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Loyola University in New Orleans. She went to dental school at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans and graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2000. Dr. Shaw Halder went into private practice as an associate on the Westbank of New Orleans and practiced there for five years.
In 2005, she moved her practice to the Kenner-Metairie area full time. She continued to work as an associate until she opened her own practice in Metairie in a brand new, state-of-the-art facility. Dr. Rhonda Shaw-Halder is the owner of Creative Smiles Dental and practices with a well established dentist, Dr. Alex Bordonaro.
